ezCollaborator organizes tasks and projects into a consolidated, shared environment.  You could, alternatively, grab tasks from your email box and paste them into a spreadsheet, but that’s a lot of work to maintain.  And this way of keeping track of tasks is not collaborative; only you can see the list.  Since most tasks involve the interaction of multiple people (even if just considering whoever initiated the task and then perhaps management signoff of the completed work), using an isolated spreadsheet for your task management has its limitations.
A better way is to consolidate these tasks into an organized, web-based solution where people can track all their tasks together and work on them as a team.  You can quickly review and organize your assignments.  And since your assignments are prioritized (and you know who set each of these priorities), you can plan your day more effectively.
